Clients

A personal touch that is original and individual.

Due to the wide field of experience in design, our team have been able to rise to challenges that range from two storey extensions through multi-million refurbishment to a historical building, working with a wide range of clients from domestic and commercial sectors.

Walton Hall

One of the specialist areas of our design team is restoration of old buildings to their original state, while being sympathetic to the period they were originally built. This includes research into the buildings history, analysis of the original features and architectural design and use of sympathetic textures, fabrics and colours.

Walton Hall had been uninhabited for some time and the building was becoming very run down. We were commissioned to bring the building back to its former glory by designing and renovating of the Banquet Hall, the Directors' Suite, the conservatory, and nine apartments, all within a challenging seven months timescale. We managed the project from start to finish, including design, specification of bespoke furniture, and restoration of the rooms to include their original features.

Reinshagen

The brief for this project was to design a welcoming reception, and for the Directors' office suite to be functional but with a modern classical feel to the furniture. The furniture was specially designed and built for the client, including some shipped over from Italy.

Ragley Hall

This project involved the private quarters of the Hall, bringing the owners' personality into a building steeped in history, being sympathetic to the past while breathing new life into the décor.

Chapel project

A recent property development project involved converting an old chapel from a working office into a two bedroom ground floor apartment. Perception spatially designed the apartment for modern day living. After successfully gaining planning permission, building work was carried out on schedule.

Ragdoll (Carlton Television)

We managed and assisted with the production of the Teletubbies slide and part of the Ragdoll shop in Stratford-upon-Avon.

A J Vinces (Kangaroo Poo surfwear)

This was an exhibition stand for a surfwear trade show, the stand was designed in the theme of waves, it also had to be easy to assemble and dismantle. The dramatic design of the stand had a significant impact at the show, changing the company profile and the footfall was noticeably higher than previous shows, a success all-round.

Coleman Douglas Pearls

Perception was commissioned to design and project manage an exhibition stand for a jewellery show in Basal, using original ideas that complement the products on show. The design was crucial to make it stand out from the rest, again ensuring the company profile was taken to another level.

Private client

This particular project was a designer's dream, giving them free reign on design and theme. The client wanted something that they knew no-one else would have, so we were given a brief to design two beds both with different themes for boys, one with a passion for music, the other for castles.

Working with a competent carpenter, the first was in the style of a grand piano the headboard inlaid with ebony for the keys. The second built like a castle having a small trap door under the bed all made out of wood. They were unique and hopefully will be passed on through generations to come, and be a collectors piece down the years.
